Halifax Rainmen News Release
The Halifax Rainmen are pleased to announce that veteran forward Eric Crookshank has been named as Eurobasket.com's Player of the Week.
Crookshank received the award after having a double-double of 14 points and 19 rebounds against the Saint John Mill Rats on March 17. Crookshank leads the league in rebounds with 11.2rpg.
"I'm very excited that my leadership, rebounding and defensive play has earned me the title of Eurobasket's Player of the Week," said Crookshank. "Although I know hard work pays off, I also know that this honor would not have been possible without the Rainmen coaching staff and my teammates."
Halifax Rainmen President & CEO commends Crookshank on his achievements this season.
"Eric has played the best basketball of his career this season," he said. "I'm proud of the way he's accepted his new role with this organization which says a lot about his maturity."
The Rainmen will return to the Metro Centre on Friday, March 25 at 7 pm, where they will match-up against the Dayton Air Strikers. Tickets can be purchased at any Ticket Atlantic location or the Metro Centre Box Office.
