EPHL New Hampshire Freeze Names KC Caudill Player / Assistant Coach

New Hampshire Freeze News Release


KC Caudill, a native of Tustin, CA, joins the NH Freeze staff as a Player/Assistant Coach with an impressive resume. In 1998-99 he helped lead the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL to a league record of regular season wins of 48-7-1 to capture the Anderson Cup. In the playoffs that season they also captured the Clark Cup Championship and ended the playoffs with a final record of 62-12-1. After leaving Des Moines KC attended college at Ferris State, where in his senior year, the team won the CCHA and was one win short of going to the Frozen Four losing to the Minnesota Gophers which ended up capturing the title in 2003.

Caudill started his pro career playing for the Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League and finished the season with the Miami Manatees of the WHA2 in 2004. In 2005 he became teammates with head coach Rob Miller with the Knoxville Ice bears and helped the team capture the Commissioner's Cup of the Southern Professional Hockey league. The following year with Knoxville Caudill had 47 points in 56 games and garnered both the Commissioner's Cup and Presidents Cup to Knoxville's first Championship since they became a franchise. Last season he took time off and scouted for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL and opened the Mata Leão Training Center where he works with hockey players on skill development and off ice training.
