LAS VEGAS - The Washington Valor (1-9) hosts the Albany Empire (6-4) on Friday, June 29 at 7 p.m. ET at Capital One Arena on AFL Now, AFL Facebook Watch Page, and Alt 105.7 FM. Albany is one game behind Baltimore for first-place. A win against Washington and a Baltimore loss this weekend, will put the Empire in position to get the 1 seed in the playoffs.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR:

EMPIRE: Quarterback Tommy Grady completed 14-of-20 passes for 199 yards and seven touchdowns last week. Grady has gone 188-of-288 passes for 2,465 yards, 66 touchdowns, and five interceptions this season. Grady continues to throw touchdown passes to his two favorite receivers. Wide receiver Malachi Jones hauled in seven catches for 87 yards and three touchdowns. The rookie has 66 receptions for 977 yards and 23 touchdowns along with 36 rushing yards and five touchdowns in 2018. Wide receiver Joe Hills caught six receptions for 76 yards and four touchdowns against the Brigade in Week 11. Hills has 70 receptions for 887 yards and 27 touchdowns in nine games. In fullback Mykel Benson's first game with Albany, he rushed for 25 yards and one touchdown. Defensive back Marrio Norman lead the Empire defense last week with 10 total tackles. On the season, Norman has tallied 57 total tackles, seven pass breakups, nine passes defended, and two interceptions. VALOR: Quarterback Arvell Nelson completed 19-of-32 passes for 177 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception along with rushing for 30 yards and two touchdowns last week. In four games

with Washington, Nelson has gone for 77-of-136 passes for 959 yards, 17 touchdowns, and six interceptions along with 77 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Wide receiver Reggie Gray continues to be the Valor's leading receiver. Last week, Gray hauled in seven catches for 62 yards and one touchdown. On the season, Gray has 59 receptions for 670 yards and 15 touchdowns. Wide receiver Jared Dangerfield was another target for Nelson. Dangerfield caught eight passes 66 yards and one touchdown. The rookie has hauled in 25 receptions for 250 yards and three touchdowns in 2018. Linebacker Alvin Ray Jackson recorded 4.5 total tackles and one pass breakup in Week 11. In six games this year, Jackson has tallied 18.5 total tackles, one tackle for- a-loss, three pass breakups, three passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
