
Empire Signs OL Sedrick Flowers

SPOKANE, Washington- The Empire have signed rookie offensive lineman Sedrick Flowers to their 2017 IFL roster.
Flowers (OL, 6-2, 320, Texas) joins the Empire for his rookie season as a member of the IFL. During his collegiate career at the University of Texas, Flowers played in 43 career games and had 25 starts at left guard for the Longhorns from 2012-2015. Before his senior season in 2015 he was named to the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list and then received second-team Academic All-Big 12 honors. He played his prep career at North Shore High School in Houston, Texas.
"Sedrick is a versatile offensive lineman that competed against some of the best talent in the country during his collegiate career," said Empire Head Coach Adam Shackleford. "Not only is he a great player, but he is a high football IQ type guy. We're looking forward to seeing him in training camp."
