
Empire Signs Kicker Taylor Russolino

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire signed kicker Taylor Russolino to their 2016 IFL roster.
Russolino (K, 6-0, 180, Millsaps) joins the Empire for his first season as a member of the IFL. In 2014, Taylor spent three games with the AFL's New Orleans VooDoo where he connected on 11-of-18 point after attempts. During his collegiate career at Millsaps College (MS) Russolino was a four-year starter where he holds records for extra points in a career (164) and career points (260). He received SCAC All-Conference honors from three times (2008-2010) and was named to the D3ProDay.com All-America team in 2010. Taylor played his prep career at Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Louisiana.
Additional Transactions: The Empire released Mauola Malaga (DL, 6-2, 340, Alcorn State) and activated Demetruce McNeal (DB, 6-2, 200, Auburn) from the short-term injured reserve list. Spokane also placed Pasqaule Vacchio (LB, 6-1, 230, Buffalo State) and Samuel Charles (WR, 6-2, 210, Edward Waters) on the short-term injured reserve list.
