
Empire Schedule-Regular Season Week 2

SPOKANE, Washington - The Empire will host the Green Bay Blizzard for their first regular season game of the 2017 IFL season this Thursday, February 23 at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena with a 7:00 p.m. PT kickoff.
Monday, February 20: Practice at the Spokane Soccer Center (SSC) located at 7320 East Nora Avenue from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, February 21: Empire players will be making appearances on the morning radio shows of Rock 94.5 FM at 8:30 a.m. and 92.9 ZZU at 9:00 a.m.
Practice and media day at the SSC from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Players and coaches will be available for interviews before the start of practice and immediately following.
The Empire Coach's Show will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Swinging Doors located at 1018 West Francis Avenue in Spokane.
With the team's first game of the 2017 regular season being on Thursday, the Empire must make final roster cuts on Tuesday (48 hours before kickoff).
Wednesday, February 22: Empire players will be making appearances on the morning radio show of 99.9 Coyote Country at 8:45 a.m.
The time and location of the team's pre-game walk-thru in prep for Thursday's home game has not been determined due to arena conversion and availability.
Thursday, February 23: The Empire will host the Green Bay Blizzard at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena for their 2017 Home Opener and Dollar Night presented by Ptera with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff. MVP Club doors open at 5:30 p.m. and general doors at 6:00 p.m. The first 2,500 fans will receive an Empire 2016 Intense Conference Championship replica banner. The Empire's community partner of the game, Love11, will be assisting with the evening's 50/50 raffle and also hosting a silent auction on the main concourse during the game. Fans can purchase tickets for the game to support Love11 by contacting the Empire Ticket Office at 509-242-7462.
The Buffalo Wild Wings located at the Northtown Mall (4750 N Division Street) will host the Empire's first postgame party of the 2017 season.
Friday, February 24: The team will have a treatment day, team meetings, and film review.
Saturday, February 25: From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Empire will be joining Because There is Hope for their Cinderella Tea event at the Spokane Convention Center.
From 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. the Empire will be at the Hub Sports Center located at 19619 East Cataldo Avenue for AAU basketball games.
From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the Empire will be at Valley Bowl Inc. for a Junior Achievement Bowling event.
Sunday, February 26: No team activities schedule.
