Empire Partners with Love 11 Foundation

SPOKANE, Washington - The Spokane Empire announced today that the Love 11 Foundation will be featured as the Empire's Community Partner for their 2017 Home Opener on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena against the Green Bay Blizzard.
The community partnership between the Love 11 Foundation and the Empire will feature future event support, fundraising, and promotional assistance to help bring awareness to the organization.
"We are extremely excited to be working with a local foundation whose focus is to support the youth of our community through sports and activities," said Empire General Manager Ryan Eucker. "The Love 11 Foundation is comprised of a group of people that share the same passion for the greater Spokane area as the Empire. We're very fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with them and look forward to creating new opportunities for the next generation of young athletes."
Upcoming Love 11 Event
The "Micah Birthday Bash and Equipment Drive" will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Pattison's North Skating Rink located at 11309 North Mayfair Street in Spokane. The admission price for skaters will be $11 (non-skaters are free), and all contributions will go to the Love 11 Foundation. Kimmel Athletic Supply will on-site at the event with pre-selected equipment available for purchase and donation. Willard Elementary School will be the first beneficiary of the equipment drive and then other Spokane schools in need after that. The equipment will go to support the physical education classes, recess activities, and after-school programs.

Love 11 Fundraising Tickets Now Available
Leading up to the Empire's 2017 Home Opener, the Love 11 Foundation will be selling fundraising tickets for $11 each with a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold going back to Love 11. Board members and Empire staff will be selling the ticket vouchers at future events. Tickets will also be available online through the Empire at www.Empire.Configio.com, by calling the Empire Ticket Office at 509-242-7462, or visiting their office at 10102 East Knox Avenue Suite 300 in Spokane Valley.
Love 11 Game Night Activities
For the Empire's Home Opener on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Spokane Arena, Love 11 will be the beneficiary of the game night's community partner fundraising activities. More information on the activities and silent auction items will be released before game night.
