Albany, NY - With a win over Carolina this past Saturday, the Albany Empire will host the NAL Championships this Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 7:00pm.
"We started this season with five goals; finish in first place, host a playoff game, win that game, host the championship and win it all," said Empire Head Coach Tom Menas. "It's been an unbelievable honor to lead this team here, and now we need you all more than ever. We need the fans to help us reach our fifth goal."
"We are so proud of the Albany Empire and are looking forward to a great championship game this weekend," said Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy. "Another championship, this time with the National Arena League, would be the end to a fantastic season. I encourage everyone to come out and support our team!"
Saturday the Empire will take on the Columbus Lions in the NAL Championship game. Game time is 7pm, block party starts at 5pm on South Pearl St. Tickets are on sale now at timesunioncenter-albany.com and are priced from $34 - $115.
In accordance with the Albany County Health Department guidelines, ALL FANS in attendance will be required to wear a mask.
