Empire Announces 2016 Radio Broadcast Schedule

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire announced today their radio broadcast schedule featuring regular season games, the Empire Coach's Show, and game night partnerships for the 2016 season with KXLY Radio Group of Spokane.
The Empire's sixteen-game regular season schedule, eight home and eight away games, will be broadcast live on AM 700 ESPN Spokane.
Larry Weir, longtime voice of EWU basketball and the Shock, will return for the 2016 season for game broadcasts and as the feature host of the Empire Coach's Show. There will also be appearances by Dennis Patchin, Keith Osso, Mike Peterson, and other special guests throughout the season.
Game broadcasts will begin thirty-minutes prior to kickoff featuring weekly interviews with Head Coach Adam Shackleford and Empire players. A post-game recap will follow each match-up.
The Empire's 2016 home schedule will also feature a number of KXLY Radio Group's stations as presenting game night partners. Tune in to each station throughout the season and leading up to home games for special promotions, contests, and giveaways:

The first Empire Coach's Show of the 2016 season will take place on Tuesday, February 16th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at The Black Diamond located at 9614 E Sprague Ave in Spokane Valley. The show will be held live on-site during the team's second season ticket pick-up event which will run from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Over the course of the remainder of the 2016 season, the Empire Coach's Show will air on Tuesday's from 6:00-7:00 p.m. from the 700 ESPN studio. Future locations for the live shows will be announced as they become available. The remaining regular season dates for the Empire Coach's Show:
