ALBANY- Albany Empire are excited to announce that John Kane has joined the ownership group of the Albany Empire.
A longtime fan of arena football, John grew up just a few blocks away from the Times Union Center. His love for his hometown and wanting to give back to his community is what inspires John, and why he wanted to be a part of this organization. He and his wife are still local, and their kids and grandkids all live in the Capital Region and participate in high school and travel sports.
"I am excited to be a part of the Albany Empire. I was a huge fan of the Albany Firebirds, and have always been a supporter of local teams," said John. "My wife and I look forward to being part of the success of the Albany Empire, as well as being a part of the outreach to the community."
John has been in the mortgage banking industry for over 30 years, and is currently a Regional Manager for Flagstar Bank, a nationwide mortgage lender.
