Empire 2016 Junior Dance Camp Friday, July 15

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Empire announced that the 2016 Empire Junior Dance Camp with the Empire Dance Team will take place on Friday, July 15 from 11:30-4:00 p.m. at the Spokane Valley YMCA located at 2421 N Discovery Place. Participants will then have the opportunity to perform during halftime of the Intense Conference Championship game on Sunday, July 17 (4:00 p.m. kickoff) at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.
Participants ages 4-12 may register online at empire.mycustomevent.com. The cost to attend the camp is $50.00. Online registration opened Wednesday, June 22 and will continue until Wednesday, July 13. Registration will also be available on the day of the camp at the Spokane Valley YMCA.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn a dance routine choreographed by Empire Dance Team Directors Maggie Kazemba and Casandra Maher.
- Meet, interact with, and be instructed by the Empire Dance Team members.
- Make lots of new friends while learning about goals, teamwork, and character.
- Perform their routine live at during halftime of the Intense Conference Championship game
In addition, each participant will receive:
- Two (2) tickets to the game (one for the camp participant and one for an accompanying adult)
- An Empire Junior Dancer T-Shirt.
- Game night promotional fan clapper courtesy of KFC.
- A private autograph session with the Empire Dance Team.
- Lunch (pizza).
Additional information:
- Practice Attire: Wear comfortable top and shorts or jazz pants - dance or gym shoes
- Game Attire: Junior Dancer T-shirt, black bottoms (shorts, pants, etc.) - dance or gym shoes
- Food: The Empire will provide water during the camp and pizza for a late lunch. Parents are encouraged to bring snacks.
- Transportation: Parents must arrange transportation for their children to the Spokane Valley YMCA Friday, as well as, to the Spokane Arena on Sunday.
