
Eetu Karvinen Continues Pro Career

The Minnesota Magicians are excited to report that Eetu Karvinen is continuing his professional career with Raumo Lukko of the SM-Liiga, the top Finnish professional league. Eetu began the season with Raumo competing in the (CHL) Champions Hockey League, a European Ice Hockey Tournament featuring several teams from first-tier leagues involving six countries in Europe. Eetu has appeared in 3 games for Lukko in the SM-Liiga after being optioned to KeuPa HT of league Mestis the second tier pro league in Finland.Â
Last season Eetu played with TUTO of league Mestis in Finland and EC Salsburg of the (MHL) in Russia. Prior to his time with the Magicians, Eetu played with the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders and the Sioux City Musketeers of the (USHL).
Eetu was an intregal part of the Minnesota Magicians inaugural season in 2013-2014. Karvinen added 10 goals and 22 assists for the Magic in 2013-2014.
