Bloomington Edge News Release

(BLOOMINGTON, IL) | The Bloomington Edge, a member team of the X-League indoor professional arena football league, announced today the launch of mobile in-seat ordering and delivery of food, beverages, and merchandise for fans attending home games at the US Cellular Coliseum. The service, offered through a partnership between Dasdak and Venuetize, will allow fans to skip the lines and get their orders in just minutes.

"We wanted to offer our fans the latest conveniences that technology can offer," said Michael Mink, owner of the Bloomington Edge and Commissioner of the X-League. "We now have two new ways for fans to order concessions and merchandise "" through an "express lane", by ordering and paying ahead of time through their smartphones, or they can skip the trip altogether and have their order delivered directly to their seat."

Fans can access and pre-register for the service by going to "In Seat Ordering" in the menu of the team mobile app or by visiting the venue's URL at www.dasdak.com/uscc.

Jon Romm, CEO of Venuetize, said, "The things most fans don't realize is that this is not just for VIP sections "" it's a service that's available to everyone in the arena with a smartphone. Plus, the delivery time is impressive, with most orders arriving within minutes of being placed."

"We've deployed this service at about a dozen professional sports stadiums across the country, including for the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints," said Swaptak Das, Founder and CEO of Dasdak. "We're pleased to now add the Bloomington Edge and the US Cellular Coliseum to our list of clients."

Mobile in-seat ordering and delivery will first be available to fans at the Edge's season opener on Saturday, March 28th.
