BLOOMINGTON, IL (October 19, 2015) - The Bloomington Edge have announced that they have hired Jeff Gonos as an Executive Management Consultant for the Edge for the 2016 season.
Gonos has over 18 seasons of pro football under his belt, serving in leagues encompassing the NFL, NFL Europe, and Arena Football League in various managerial roles.
"Bloomington is a special city that has embraced indoor football for the last ten plus years," stated Gonos. "The Edge owners share my passion for the sport and the for the players that lay it all on the line for an opportunity to advance to the next level. It is honestly like watching the future stars of tomorrow...today!"
Gonos has most recently served as the executive director of the Professional Indoor Football League and had previously served as the Director of Football Operations of the Austin Wranglers of the Arena Football League and as football operations staff of the Amsterdam Admirals (NFL Europe) and the Carolina Panthers of the NFL.
"We interviewed several strong candidates to lead our front office and Jeff immediately stood out as the best fit for our franchise. He has the knowledge, experience, and passion to make an immediate and long-lasting impact on the direction of our franchise.
