Edge Add Barnhardt To Front Office

Bloomington, IL -- The Bloomington Edge have added indoor football front office veteran Adam Barnhardt to their front office for the 2017 season.
"It's a true pleasure to join a storied indoor football organization such as the Edge," Barnhardt stated. "For a team to be able to serve the Bloomington- Normal area for over ten years speaks volumes on the community support for this team."
As Director of Sales & Outreach, Barnhardt will oversee season ticket membership sales, corporate partnerships, and marketing including content creation for all digital platforms. Barnhardt most recently served as Director of Communications for the Cedar Rapids Titans (IFL) over the course of the 2016 season. For his efforts with Cedar Rapids this past year, the Titans were awarded the 2016 IFL Media Relations of the Year award, given each year to the team with the best local media coverage and most original content created including game notes, press releases, and game articles.
Prior to that, Barnhardt was with the Bemidji Axemen (IFL) between 2013 and 2014, serving as General Manager of the team for 2014.
"We are thrilled to add Adam to our front office. His knowledge and experience in professional arena football is exactly what we need to augment our sales and outreach efforts, both of which increased substantially in 2016," said team President Nargis Khokhar.
Through his marketing efforts over the past three seasons, Barnhardt has led the charge on social media campaigns that have reached nearly four million people through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
"With the great season the Edge had on the field last season, I'm excited to see where we can take this team both on and off the field in the coming years," said Barnhardt. "I'm thankful to the Khokhars for giving me this opportunity."
