
Eddies Sign Egwu and Sylvester to U-18 Development Contracts

Edmonton, AB - FC Edmonton has signed defenders Kelsey Egwu and Malik Sylvester to U-18 development contracts for the 2022 season.
Egwu and Sylvester hail from Edmonton and are products of the BTB Soccer Academy.
Both players have been training with the Eddies throughout the 2022 season.
"Kelsey is an athletic defender who we have enjoyed having in our training environment. He is becoming more comfortable with the technical and tactical requirements of professional football, and we are excited to see him embrace this opportunity," said FC Edmonton head coach Alan Koch.
Sylvester, recently committed to Oakland University on a NCAA Division-I scholarship, starting in the 2022-23 season.
"Malik is a strong and talented young defender. His mentality has been first class and we are enjoying having him in our training environment. We will continue to push him and help him maximize his abilities," said Koch.
With signing their development contracts, both players will now be eligible to play regular season matches for FC Edmonton.
