
ECHL Has Seven Of Top 10 Venues In Fan Voting

BOCA RATON, Fla. - For the second season in a row the ECHL was the only
professional hockey league represented in the Top 10 venues as chosen by
fans in the annual Vote4TheBest poll conducted by MLN Sports.

The Premier 'AA' Hockey League had seven of the Top 10 venues led by
Stockton Arena, home of the Stockton Thunder, which finished second behind
repeat winner Whataburger Field in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was the second
consecutive year that the ECHL had seven venues in the Top 10.
The Sovereign Center, home of the Reading Royals, was third followed by
Rabobank Arena, the home of the Bakersfield Condors; the Arena at Gwinnett
Center, home of the Gwinnett Gladiators and Germain Arena, home of the
Florida Everblades. Historic Cambria County War Memorial Arena, home of the
Johnstown Chiefs, was ninth and Sullivan Arena, home of the Alaska Aces,
was 10th.

In the 2008 poll the Arena at Gwinnett Center was third while Stockton

Arena, home of the Las Vegas Wranglers, was 10th.
