Hudson Valley Bears @ Brooklyn Aces: 7:30pm

Location: Aviator Sports & Recreation, Brooklyn, New York

* 16th game in the season series. Brooklyn has won the first 15 games.

* Last game: Sunday 3/8, Brooklyn defeated Hudson Valley 9-1.

* It was another dominating performance by the first place Aces. After Hudson Valley had closed the gap to 3-1 on a first period goal from Scott Burns, Brooklyn scored six unanswered goals.

* The Aces were led in scoring by Tony Resendes (3 goals & 1 assist), CJ Tozzo with six points (1 goal & 5 assists), and Mike Thomson with five points (1 goal & 4 assists).

* Saturday's Promotion: Before the game, fans can participate in a "Family Hockey Clinic" where Aces players & coaches will conduct on & off ice hockey sessions. The cost is $20 per person which includes admission to the Aces game on Saturday.

Jersey Rockhoppers @ Danbury Mad Hatters: 7:30pm

Location: Danbury Arena, Danbury, Connecticut

* 16th game of the year between the two teams battling for the second playoff spot behind Brooklyn. Jersey leads 8-7 after the first fifteen games.

* Last meeting: Sunday 3/8, Jersey defeated Danbury 5-4 in regulation.

* The Rockhoppers Anthony Becker scored the game winner at 11:56 of the third period and then the 'Hoppers held on for the win. Becker had two goals and John Morea, Tom Boudreau, and Matt Puntureri each scored once.

* The Mad Hatters got their goals from Scott Horvath, Erik Kent, Obi Aduba, and Zech Klann.

* Saturday's Promotion: "Breast Cancer Awareness Night": A portion of the game's proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Mad Hatters will wear special game jerseys with a modified pink 'Hatters logo. A silent auction will be held for the game worn jerseys.
