Friday 2/27 Eastern Professional Hockey League Game Day Preview

(Danbury hosts Hudson Valley at the Danbury Arena on Friday evening)

Hudson Valley Bears @ Danbury Mad Hatters: 7:30pm

Location: Danbury Arena, Danbury, CT

* 12th game of the season series. Danbury has won ten of the first eleven games.

* In the last game on February 19th, the Mad Hatters defeated the Bears 8-3.

* In the 8-3 victory, Chad Jones scored twice for the ‘Hatters and Erik Kent had a goal and two assists. Jones scored the game winning goal at 18:00 pf the second period. Goaltender Derek MacIntyre stopped 26 of 29 shots for the win. John Geverd scored twice for Hudson Valley and Scott Estey had two assists.

* Tuesday night, Danbury defeated the Jersey Rockhoppers 9-4 to close to within seven points of second place.

* Saturday night, Danbury travels to Jersey while Hudson Valley returns home to Newburgh, New York to host the Brooklyn Aces.
