Location: Aviator Sports & Recreation, Brooklyn, NY
* Ninth meeting of the year. Brooklyn leads the season series 6-2.
* Danbury won the last game in the series 6-5, in overtime, on Friday (1/9). In that game, Duane Whitehead scored the game winner in overtime. Igor Karlov added two goals for the men with Mad Hats. Eric Frank scored twice for Brooklyn.
* Friday night, Brooklyn defeated Jersey 6-1. Jesse Felten scored a hat trick for the Aces.
* This past Thursday night, Danbury defeated Jersey 5-2. Matt Tyree & Logan Bittle scored for the Rockhoppers.
* Saturday's Promotion: 'American Cancer Society Fundraiser': A portion of the ticket sales will benefit the American Cancer Society's Fight against Cancer.
Hudson Valley Bears (2-19-0) @ Jersey Rockhoppers (12-10-1): 7:30pm
Location: Essex County Richard J. Codey Arena @ South Mountain, West Orange, NJ
* Ninth game of the season series. Jersey has won seven of the first eight games.
* Jersey defeated Hudson Valley last Sunday (1/11) by a 5-4 margin in Poughkeepsie, NY. Alex Hager scored the game winner at 14:57 of the third period. Chris Ferazzoli had a goal and two assists. Scott Horvath scored twice for the Bears.
* On Friday night, Jersey lost to Brooklyn 6-1. Anthony Becker scored the 'Hoppers lone goal.
* This past Thursday evening, Hudson Valley lost 9-3 at Brooklyn. Jerry Cardinale, Tom Westfall, and Dan Rohanna scored the Hudson Valley goals.
* Sunday night, Hudson Valley returns home to the Ice Time Sports Complex in Newburgh, NY to host Danbury at 8:00pm.
