Eastern League Announces Hartford Schedule Changes

PORTLAND, MAINE - The Eastern League of Professional Baseball today announced that changes are being made to the 2016 home schedule of the Hartford Yard Goats. These changes are being made to the schedule due to uncertainty regarding the availability of Dunkin' Donuts Park. At this time the league is moving home dates for the Hartford Yard Goats that were scheduled to be played in Hartford during the period of April 7th through May 8th.
The Eastern League will continue to monitor the situation and will make further decisions regarding the Hartford schedule as additional information becomes available regarding the availability of Dunkin' Donuts Park.
A list of the changes which are currently being made to the 2016 schedule are listed below:
April 7th-April 10th (Hartford Yard Goats vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels)
This series will now be hosted by the Richmond Flying Squirrels from April 7th-April 9th. The clubs will play a doubleheader on April 9th and Sunday, April 10th will become an off day for both clubs.
April 11th-April 13th (Hartford Yard Goats vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats)
This series will now be hosted by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
April 21st-April 24th (Hartford Yard Goats vs. Portland Sea Dogs)
This series will now be hosted by the Portland Sea Dogs from April 22nd-April 24th. The clubs will play a doubleheader on April 23rd and Thursday, April 21st will become an off day for both clubs.
April 25th-April 27th (Hartford Yard Goats vs. Harrisburg Senators)
This series will now be hosted by the Harrisburg Senators from April 26th-April 28th. The off day originally scheduled for Thursday April 28th will be moved to Monday, April 25th.
May 6th-May 8th (Hartford Yard Goats vs. New Hampshire Fisher Cats)
This series will now be hosted by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
These changes will not impact the previously announced home schedule for any of the clubs now hosting additional games against the Hartford club. These dates will be added to the 71 game regular season home schedule for each club.
Information regarding game times and ticket policies for these dates will be announced individually by each host club.
