
East Wins USHL All-Star Game

The USHL Eastern Division All-Stars topped the Western Division Wednesday evening 4-1 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
All four goals were recorded by Cedar Rapids Rough Rider players. Mike Seidel scored twice. Kyle Flanagan had a goal and assists on the other three; he was recognized with the Ron Woodey Award as the All-Star Game MVP.
The Black Hawks were represented on the Eastern Division team by Craig Smith, Nick Larson, and Patrick Wey.
Waterloo's All-Stars and the rest of the team will be back on the ice Friday visiting the Des Moines Buccaneers. Saturday the Hawks will be at home to host the Sioux Falls Stampede.
