East Kentucky-Pittsburgh game moved to Saturday

PIKEVILLE, KY. - Fans planning a trip to Pittsburgh to cheer on the East Kentucky Miners in a CBA American Conference matchup will have an extra day to prepare for their journey. The East Kentucky-Pittsburgh game slated for Friday, Feb. 22 has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 23 due to the Carrie Underwood concert scheduled for the Peterson Events Center - Pittsburgh's home arena. Following the scheduling conflict, tip-off for Saturday's East Kentucky-Pittsburgh game is set for 7:05 p.m.

East Kentucky is scheduled to travel to Atlanta for games Sunday, Feb. 24 and Monday, Feb. 25. The move of the East Kentucky-Pittsburgh game may affect one or both of the away dates in Atlanta. If dates and times for either or both of the East Kentucky-Atlanta games are adjusted to accommodate travel schedules, updated information on the conference matchups will be released as soon as it is made available.

East Kentucky has won three of its last four games. The Miners (21-20) are currently fourth in the very competitive American Conference.

All of East Kentucky's remaining home games will be played as scheduled at the East Kentucky Expo Center. East Kentucky has three regular-season home games remaining on its schedule: Thursday, Feb. 28 - Oklahoma, 7:05 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 29 - Oklahoma, 7:05 p.m.; Sunday, March 2 - Atlanta, 4:05 p.m.
