Friday, December 15 Eagles 4 @ Rocky Mountain Rage 3 - OT
Ryan Tobler had two goals including the game-winning goal in overtime as the Colorado Eagles defeated the Rocky Mountain Rage Friday night 4-3 at the Broomfield Event Center. Craig Strain had a goal and an assist and Marco Emond saved 37 of 40 shots for his league-leading 13th win of the season. Nathan Rosychuk scored two goals for the Rage.
Saturday, December 16 Eagles 2 @ Rocky Mountain Rage 1
The Eagles won their sixth straight game Saturday night in a 2-1 victory over the Rocky Mountain Rage at the Broomfield Event Center. Chris Hartsburg scored his third game-winning goal at the 9:47 mark of the third period and his ninth goal of the season. Seth Leonard scored the other goal for Colorado and Tim Boron made the start in net saving 26 of 27 shots for his fourth win of the season. Chip Dunleavy had Rocky Mountain's lone goal and David Guerrera stopped 50 of 52 shots against Colorado.

Wednesday, December 20 vs. Wichita Thunder, 7:05 p.m. MST Radio: 107.9 The Bear
The Eagles take on the Thunder for the second time this season and 27th time in team history. Colorado beat Wichita in their first win of the season on October 27 in a 5-1 victory at the Budweiser Events Center. The Eagles are 13-10-3 all-time against the Thunder and Riley Nelson leads the team in scoring against Wichita with 32 points on eight goals and 24 assists in 26 games.
Friday, December 22 vs. Arizona Sundogs, 7:05 p.m. MST Radio: 107.9 The Bear
This is the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. Colorado is 2-1 against Arizona and the home team has won every game in the series. The Eagles defeated Arizona 5-4 and 5-2 on November 3rd and 4th at the Budweiser Events Center and the Sundogs beat the Eagles 7-2 on November 14th at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. Each team has scored six goals on 27 opportunities on the power play and Arizona is outscoring Colorado 13-12 in the series.
Saturday, December 23 vs. Rocky Mountain Rage, 7:05 p.m. MST Radio: 107.9 The Bear
The Eagles and Rage will play for the ninth time this season on Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center. Colorado is 6-2-0 against the Rage after winning two one-goal games against them this weekend. 12 of Colorado's 34 points this season have come in wins against the Rage.

New Year's Eve Gala- The Colorado Eagles Foundation and Community Foundation of Northern Colorado are hosting a New Year's Eve Gala entitled "The Eagles Strike Midnight" at the Fort Collins Marriott on December 31, 2006. First OT- It took the Eagles 20 games this season to finally play in an overtime period. Colorado was the last team in the CHL to play an overtime game. Ryan Tobler scored the game winning against the Rocky Mountain Rage on Friday night to secure the Eagles victory in overtime.
Home Sweet Home- Since the Eagles opening night loss to the Rage at the Budweiser Events Center on October 20th, the Eagles have not lost a game at home. Colorado has reeled off 10 consecutive wins in which they have outscored their opponents 50-25 during that time. The Eagles record for consecutive wins at home is 12 set in 2004-05.
Six Straight- Since the Eagles lost two consecutive games by a combined score of 14-2, the team has reeled off six straight wins. Colorado has out scored their opponents 23-13 in that time.
