
Eagles Defeat App State 4-0 in the Final Home Preseason Game

Charlotte, NC -- In Charlotte's last home preseason game they defeated App State 4-0. Charlotte has three games remaining in the preseason before the home opener on April 4th.
The Eagles opened the scoring in the 5th minute when Zak Boggs hammered one past the App State Goalkeeper to put the Eagles up 1-0.
Nearly 30 minutes later Tyrone Hall hammered another one past the goalkeeper to put the Eagles up 2-0 in the 34th minute.
Boggs struck again in the 50th minute on a rebound from Fred Sekyere pushing the Eagles lead to 3 goals. The Eagles sealed the game when Mario Gomez took it down the left wing and hammered it low across the goal line and scored in the 78th minute.
The Charlotte Eagles will kick off the USLPRO regular season on Friday, April 4th against the Dayton Dutch Lions.
