AMARILLO, Texas The Amarillo Dusters may have finished their home season, but there is one more opportunity for fans to meet Amarillo's professional football team. The Dusters and Darlins will be at Wonderland Park this Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a Fan Appreciation party.
"We have always prided ourselves with be accessible to our fans and the Amarillo community," said Dusters vice president Joe Morgado. "We'd like to thank Wonderland Park for hosting this event so that we are able to continue that tradition."
Fans can go to www.wonderlandpark.com The Dusters and Darlins will be located to the left of the West Entrance, past the Pipeline Plunge ride. "This event is really all about the fans and sponsors that have made this season possible," Morgado said. "This is our way of saying thank you and give the players one last chance to visit their fans and sign autographs." Bring your Dusters gear, footballs, and programs for the team to autograph. The Dusters are on the road this weekend, facing the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz. The team will be looking to seal a playoff spot with a win. 2009 season tickets are on sale now.
