Dusters Unveil New Ideology
In a unique move in professional sports, the Amarillo Dusters today unveiled the team's new ideology: One Passion. One Family. One Goal.
"This is what we live and believe," said Dusters General Manager Warren McCarty. "From the time I started representing professional athletes and coaches in the late 90's, I preached passion'. Being passionate about the pursuit of a dream, being passionate about football, and experiencing the unbelievable passion that fans have for players and their favorite teams is basically the picture I've always tried to paint for my guys. It's a daily mindset. A few weeks ago, Coach Perdue was in his hotel room in New York City and called me up and laid it all out for me. He had me fired up; it was perfect. After listening to him, it became crystal clear that this was the direction we both wanted to go. From our ownership to our interns, from our players to our fans, this is how we will move forward."
One Passion: Our owners, front office, coaching staff, players, dancers, and fans all share a true, pure passion for the game.
One Family: Success for our organization is completely dependent on our owners, front office, coaching staff, players, dancers, and community being united.
One Goal: Our goal is to bring the ArenaCup home to Amarillo every year.
