Dusters to play on Toyota Field at the Amarillo Civic Center

The Amarillo Dusters announced today that they will be playing on Toyota Field at the Amarillo Civic Center for the 2005 season.

"We are so excited about having Toyota as a partner for the 2005 season," said Dusters Director of Football Operations Warren McCarty. "We've thoroughly enjoyed working with Joe Street at Street Toyota here in Amarillo, and we are honored that we could get a commitment on a national level from Toyota. This is significant for both our organization and the city of Amarillo as well."

Street Toyota in Amarillo is owned and operated by Joe Street, and carries both the Toyota brand vehicles and the new Scion brand, which is geared towards a younger generation of auto enthusiast.

"Toyota believes strongly in the importance of grass-roots level marketing, and we saw this as an excellent opportunity for us to partner with the Dusters and to be part of something exciting," said Joe Street. "Toyota has a huge presence in Houston with the Toyota Center, and I'm pleased that they saw the value of having a presence in Amarillo as well. From a business standpoint, the future looks great. Toyota is opening a new plant in San Antonio in 2006, and we are aggressively developing the Toyota brand and the new Scion brand as well."
