Dusters to hold final dance team tryouts

AMARILLO, TEXAS - The Amarillo Dusters announce today the final tryouts for the Amarillo Dusters dance team.
Tryouts will be on Sunday, January 20, 2008 in the Amarillo Civic Center South Exhibit Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants are asked to wear dance pants or shorts and a fitted top or sports bra.
The potential Amarillo Duster Darlins will need to be prepared to learn and perform a 60-second routine and an 8-count. Dancers will be judged on skills, appearance, and attitude. Participants must be at least 18 or older and must provide proper identification.
Registration begins at 2 p.m. Participants are asked to bring $25 cash to the tryouts for the registration fee.
Lacy Ratliffe will serve as the dance team coordinator for the 2008 season. Lacy is a four-year veteran to the Amarillo Duster Darlins, and will be the tryout instructor.
