Dusters Hosting Flag Football Tourney

Amarillo, TX 6/25/09 - Just when you thought your Amarillo Dusters had played enough football this season, the Dusters will host their 1st annual flag football tournament in July.
Your Amarillo Dusters will team up with the Amarillo Flag Football League July 17th and 18th to host a
4-on-4 flag football tournament at the Amarillo Civic Center. The winner will be presented the championship trophy at halftime during the final Dusters home game of the season. There will be a limited amount of teams, so jump on board now! Each player participating will receive a free Dusters game ticket to the July 18th season finale. Sign up a team, by calling the A.F.F.L. at 806-433-1913.
"We are proud to partner up with the Amarillo Flag Football League," commented Dusters General Manager Joe Morgado. "I hope the Panhandle community will take advantage of this opportunity to participate in this event."

Amarillo (2-10) will return home this Saturday, June 27th at 7pm to take on the Iowa Barnstormers. Fans will be able to put their names in a drawing to win a chance to "Ride with a Duster" at Wonderland this Sunday from 6pm-7pm. Game tickets begin as low as $10. THE AMARILLO DUSTERS are a member of the arenafootball2 league. The team front office is now located at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo. Premium Red Level Sideline tickets are available by calling (806) 350-PASS (7277), and start at just $15 a seat.
