
Drillers begin playoffs Tuesday

Tulsa Drillers News Release
It has been 2 ½ months since the Tulsa Drillers clinched their spot in the Texas League playoffs with a win in Springfield on the final day of the first-half season. They will finally begin their post-season play Tuesday night at Drillers Stadium.
The Drillers will meet the Wichita Wranglers in the best-of-five North Division Playoff Series with the winner advancing to the Texas League Championship Series. Tulsa will host games one and two at Drillers Stadium on Tuesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 6. Starting time for both games will be 7:05PM.
Game 3, and if necessary, games 4 and 5 will be played in Wichita from September 7-9.
Free tickets for both games in Tulsa are now available at Primeaux Kia and at Reasor's compliments of Primeaux Kia and NewsChannel 8. The tickets can be used for general admission seating for both games at Drillers Stadium.
Tuesday's Game 1 will be a special "Thirsty Tuesday" with $1.00 Bud and Pepsi. Game 2 on Wednesday will feature 50 Cent Hot Dogs.
