In the 10th round of this year's NAHL Draft, the Magicians selected forward Hunter Luhmann from the Waterloo Blackhawks of the United States Hockey League (USHL).
Luhmann is from the eastern United States, and played 3 years of high school hockey at Proctor Academy before being drafted by the Madison Capitols in the 2014 USHL Draft. After one season in Madison, Luhmann joined the Waterloo Blackhawks (USHL) for the 2015-2016 season. In 40 games for Waterloo, he registered 3 goals and 4 assists for a total of 7 points. The right wing will be expected to provide an ability to score for the Magicians this season.
