In the 11th round of the NAHL Draft this year, the Magicians selected Brendan Skarda of Minnetonka High School of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).
Skarda is from Minnetonka, Minnesota where he played three seasons of varsity hockey for the Skippers. During the 2014-2015 season, he suited up in 28 games and contributed 10 goals and 17 assists for a total of 27 points. Last season as a senior, he was named a captain and responsded with 17 goals, 21 assists, and 38 total points through the regular season and playoffs.
