PHILADELPHIA - The 2012 American Conference Champion Philadelphia Soul, presented by Parx Casino, announce Doylestown native 10-year-old, Aishlinn Kivlighn, will perform as one of the opening acts for the stars of the Disney Channel, Caroline Sunshine and RoShon Fegan as seen on "Shake It Up!".
The 90-minute concert in which Aishlinn will perform will be part of the post-game activities for "Daddy Daughter Night" on June 1 at the Wells Fargo Center. The concert will be hosted by Sierra McCormick, as seen on "A.N.T. Farm." It will begin immediately following the Soul game, when the Soul play the Arizona Rattlers in a rematch of last year's ArenaBowl Championship game.
Currently living in Washington D.C., Aishlinn is the daughter of Salah and Eimear Kivlighn and sister of 16-year-old Emma Kivlighn. She was born in Doylestown, PA and lived there until she was five-years-old. Salah and Eimear both worked for Merck Pharmaceuticals in Doylestown. The family moved from Doylestown due to work reasons.
"This is a special opportunity to not only perform with such big stars in the entertainment industry, but to also have a chance to perform at the Wells Fargo Center," said Aishlinn. "I consider Doylestown my hometown and Philadelphia my home city. Many of my close friends are there."
Aishlinn fondly remembers her days at Wind Mill Day Camp, where she went for child care and got her entertainment career started performing in plays, playing at Kids Castle and Giggle Berry at Peddler's Village, riding bikes at Peace Valley Park, eating and meeting her friends at The Bagel Barrel and feeding the ducks at Lake Galena. Her favorite places to eat in Doylestown were Ooka, Havana Restaurant and Tony Tomatto's. She also remembers learning to swim at the Doylestown YMCA.
Official Host for the evening's concert is the talented Sierra McCormick who is seen daily on Disney's "A.N.T. Farm" and has appeared in the movies: Jack and Janet Save the Planet, Ramona and Beezus, and A Nanny for Christmas. Sierra will also participate with other stars in meeting and greeting VIP ticket holders. The MC will be Adrian R'Mante, made famous from his role, "Esteban," from Disney Channel's, "Suite Life of Zack & Cody."
Caroline currently has a recurring role on the Disney Channel original series "Shake It Up!" In addition to her work on "Shake It Up," Caroline has also begun a successful music career. In 2012, Caroline had featured songs on the "Shake It Up!: Live 2 Dance" soundtrack and the Disney Channel Holiday Playlist. She has also been working on other music, while performing at shows across the US, including Daddy Daughter Night.
Roshon Fegan, as seen on "Shake It Up" and "Camp Rock" movies was also featured on the 14th season of the ABC show, "Dancing with the Stars." He stayed on for eight weeks and was placed in the top six.
IM5 is quickly making waves as the world's next dominant boy band and was founded on a national talent search headed by American Idol creator, Simon Fuller, along with world-famous celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton. The multi-cultured quintet comprised of band members Cole Pendery, Dalton Rapattoni, Dana Vaughns , Gabe Morales and Will Jay boast their own unique style that fuses together hook-driven pop melodies, authentic vocal harmonies, and full-blown dance routines.
