GARY, Ind. (January 19, 2004) â Just say the "secret word" on January 23, and get into the Steelheads game for just $1.
Borrowing a line from the Groucho Marx TV show, "You Bet Your Life," the Steelheads and NIPSCO have partnered up for a fun night as the Steelheads battle the league-leading Dakota Wizards on January 23 at 7:05 p.m. at the Genesis Convention Center. Just say "NIPSCO: at the box office and they can purchase an upper level general admission seat for just $1.
Last season, a then-record 5,020 fans came out on "NIPSCO Night." January 23 is also the second "Teddy Bear Donation Night." Fans can donate a teddy bear, which will be given to children in the special units at The Methodist Hospitals Northlake and Southlake campuses.
Fans are encouraged to come early, so as to avoid long lines at the box office. Tickets are subject to availability and are sold on a first come-first serve basis.
