Philadelphia KiXX News Release
Philadelphia, PA, January 16, 2009 - The Philadelphia KiXX (3-4) welcome their Interstate-95 rival, the Baltimore Blast (5-1), to the historic Wachovia Spectrum on Saturday, January 17. It's "Dollar Dog Night" at the Spectrum with all hot dogs just one dollar ($1.00), beginning from the time doors open at 6:00 pm ET, at all concession stands. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:05 pm ET.
Baltimore earned a 16-10 victory in the clubs' first head-to-head meeting of the season on December 13. Overall, however, the KiXX hold a slight advantage with a 42-37 record including 25-14 at home. The Blast enter Saturday's contest atop the NISL standings with a 5-1 record and with the League's stingiest defense that allows a meager 6.0 points per game. Philadelphia, currently ranked fourth at 3-4, boasts the NISL's most proficient offense, scoring at the rate of 18.3 points per game.
Philadelphia KiXX group and single-game tickets are on sale by calling the club's ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499). The KiXX also offer a Family 4-PaXX, four lower-level tickets, four hot dogs and sodas, for the low price of $69 and a Birthday Package priced at $24.90 per ticket. Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, as well as online at www.comcasttix.com and at select Acme Market locations.
