MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA: Minot State's Darrel Doll will rejoin the Yuba-Sutter Gold Sox for a third season. "Darrel is an outstanding pitcher and we're excited to have him back on board," says VP/GM Michael Mink "Continuity is key with our organization and we know he bleeds gold and blue; we're looking forward to seeing what he brings to the table this season."
During his first 2 seasons with the Gold Sox, Doll had a combined ERA of 4.12 with 21 runs, 13 RBIs, 2 home runs, and a .305 batting average. Doll is currently leading Minot State University with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs, and a .571 slugging average. On the field, he has a .984 fielding percentage with 118 putouts, a .448% opposing batting average, and 10 runs in 14 games played.
