Deanna Nolan scored 23 points, grabbed seven rebounds and handed out 12 assists for Anda Ramat Hasharon as they advanced to the EuroCup quarter-finals with an 89-75 win over Lavezzini Parma. Cheryl Ford added 15 points and seven boards while former Shock forward Petra Ujhelyi scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Houston Comets center Michelle Snow recorded a double-double in the loss with 21 points and 12 rebounds, and Minnesota Lynx guard Chandi Jones scored 19 points
Next up for Anda? Spartak Moscow Region, featuring none other than famed Shock rival Lisa Leslie of the Los Angeles Sparks. Leslie isn't the only WNBA player on the Spartak roster. Joining her are Crystal Robinson of the Liberty; Ticha Penicheiro of the Monarchs; former NY forward Linda Frohlich; former LA, Indiana, Phoenix and Houston guard Gordana Grubin; and Detroit's Irina Osipova who set out the 2005 WNBA season due to pregnancy.

Anda's next Israeli League game is scheduled for January 26 against Maccabi Ashdod.
Nolan and Ford aren't the only players on the Shock roster competing in the EuroCup quarter-finals. Plenette Pierson and Coconuda Maddaloni advanced with an 80-66 win over MBK. Pierson scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win. Former Cleveland Rockers draft pick Jennifer Butler scored six points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.
Pierson's opponent in the quarter-finals is BC Chevakata featuring former Comets and Sting center Elena Shakirova.

The logjam atop the Italian League A1 standings shows no signs of clearing up as a mere two games separates first place from 10th. Coconuda is currently in a six-way tie for fifth at 11-7 following a 77-61 win over Centro S. Palladio Vicenza. Pierson scored 28 points and grabbed five rebounds in the victory.
Pierson's next Italian League game is scheduled for Thursday, January 26 against Phard Napoli.
Ruth Riley has completed her overseas obligations with Yaya Maria Porta XI and will join the Colorado Chill for their spring season beginning in February.
Kara Braxton has completed her overseas obligations with TS Wis"a Can-Pack Kraków and is currently in exploring her options with regards to other overseas opportunities.
Barbara Farris traveled to France over the weekend to begin playing for Saint-Amand PH.
