Anda Ramat Hasharon is running away from the rest of the pack in Group G EuroCup Women Preliminary Round competition as they won their fourth game in as many tries with a 79-52 win over Mersin on November 3. Deanna Nolan scored a game-high 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting, while grabbing seven rebounds and handing out six assists. Cheryl Ford scored nine points, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked three shots while former Shock forward Petra Ujhelyi added a double-double for the victors with 16 points and 15 boards.
Former Storm, Rocker, Lynx and Monarchs forward Adia Barnes scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in the loss, while Phoenix's Ashley Robinson scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds and former Shock forward Gergana Branzova-Erdeney scored 11 points and grabbed seven boards.
Anda's next EuroCup Women game is November 17 vs. WBC Kimico.

Anda remained undefeated in Israeli League play with a 64-62 squeaker over Raanana Hertzeliya on October 31. It took a 16-point comeback by Anda to pick up the win, and Ford told Lior Klinger of www.safsal.co.il that "I've never played that bad in my life." Still, Anda Ramat Hasharon pulled it together long enough to hold Raanana Hertzeliya to just four points in the fourth quarter for the win.
Ford scored eight points on the evening on 3 of 12 shooting, and grabbed 12 rebounds. Nolan scored a game-high 17 points.
Ford and Nolan return to Israeli League play November 7 vs. Maccabi Ramat Hen (1-1).

Coconuda Maddaloni and Plenette Pierson picked up their first win in EuroCup Women Preliminary Round play on November 2 with a 75-62 win over BG Dorsten. Pierson scored 14 points, grabbed five rebounds and picked up four steals in the win.
Cocunuda plays Stade Clermontois Auvergne Basket 63 (2-1) on November 9.

Coconuda Maddaloni moved a game over .500 in Israeli League play with a 70-66 win over Terra Sarda Alghero on November 5. Pierson poured in 23 points on nine of 18 shooting from the floor and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
Pierson's next Israeli League game is scheduled for November 13 against Gescom Viterbo.

Elaine Powell and Ros Casares Valencia (0-2) are still searching for their first Euroleague Women Qualification Round win after losing to USO Basket (2-0), 81-67. Powell scored 14 points on 6 of 11 shooting from the field and former Washington, Indiana and Seattle center Allessandra Santos posted a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds, but 28 turnovers for Ros Casares sealed their fate.
Ros Casares' next EuroLeague game is November 10 vs. USK Praha (0-2).

In Spanish League competition, Elaine Powell Ros Casares improved to 5-1 on the season with a 66-55 win over Universitat de Barcelona FCB. Powell scored 11 points on five of 10 shooting on the night while grabbed three rebounds. Santos scored four points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Former Sparks center Erika Desouza scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds on the losing effort while former Mystics guard Helen Luz was held scoreless.
Powell's next Spanish League game is November 12 vs. Universitario de Ferrol (1-5).

Kara Braxton and TS Wis"a Can-Pack Kraków (1-1) bounced back from their season-opening EuroLeague Women Qualification Round loss to up-end K Cero ICB (0-2) in Slovakia on November 2, 88-71. Braxton posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds adding three steals while shooting six of 16 from the field including one of two from three-point range.
The Phoenix Mercury's Anna DeForge led all scorers with 24 points for Wis"a Can-Pack while the Charlotte Sting's Kelly Mazzante posted a double-double of her own with 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for K Cero ICP in the losing effort.
