AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - IT'S A CHAMPIONSHIP PARTY AND EVERYONE'S INVITED!
The 2008 WNBA Champion Detroit Shock are inviting everyone in the area downtown to Campus Martius at 12 noon on Monday to help them celebrate their three-game sweep of the San Antonio Silver Stars.
On Monday, October 6, starting at Noon, Mayor Kenneth Cockrell Jr. along with the Detroit Shock players, Head Coach Bill Laimbeer, assistant coaches, team administrators and other dignitaries from the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan will be in attendance to honor the three-time World Champion Detroit Shock.
