Destroyers Next 3 Home Games to Air on Comcast
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA (Oct. 4, 2011) The Virginia Destroyers, of the United Football League, and Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic announced their television coverage on Tuesday for the rest of the 2011 United Football League season
Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will begin its coverage of Destroyers football on Friday, Oct. 7, when the Destroyers (2-0) host the Sacramento Mountain Lions (0-2) at 7 pm at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. Dave Johnson will be doing play-by-play and former NFL coach Jerry Glanville will be doing color commentary.
Comcast SportsNet will also broadcast Virginia's next two games, on Oct. 15 at Sacramento and on Oct 21, when the Destroyers host the Omaha Nighthawks.
Locally, all games will air live on Comcast Plus, which is Cox Channel 11.

This is a great opportunity for football fans outside of the Hampton Roads area to see what the UFL is all about and the top-notch brand of football that head Coach Marty Schottenheimer is putting on the field."
