Derek Kemp named ABA Director of Technology
Published on April 1, 2005 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association today named Derek Kemp as the new ABA Director of Technology. According to Ricardo Richardson, ABA EVP, "Our goal is to upgrade the ABA team websites considerably - with more up-to-date, more interesting information on a daily basis. Many of our teams have good websites, many don't - and all of them should. I have worked closely with Derek for years. He is a true "tech guy," very strong in website management, design and other critical areas. You will see a considerable difference next season."
Kemp added, "I have reviewed the current websites and quite a few of them are very good. Our goal will be to have consistancy throughout the league. The ABA website, under the direction and management of Syphon Interactive is excellent. We hope that we can help all of the teams achieve the same high standard that Syphon has set. One area of improvement will be team stats, that I can assure you."
