On Saturday at 3:00 tune in to see 2011-12 Amsterdam Mohawk 2B/OF DeMarcus Henderson in action for Mississippi State as they open play in the 2013 NCAA Division I World Series in Omaha, NE against #3 seeed Oregon State. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Henderson is the starting left fielder for the Bulldogs and was a two year starter for the Mohawks as well. Drafted out of high school as a second baseman by the Houston Astros, the Waynesboro, MS native has moved fulltime to the outfield. This season, DeMarcus has hit a respectable .296 in 56 games.
