DEFENSIVE BACK EDDIE DAVIS III SIGNS WITH SHARKS
JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that Defensive Back Eddie Davis III signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for his second year in arena football and first year with the Sharks.
Davis III (6'0", 190) joins the Sharks after spending the 2017 season with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. During his time with Lehigh Valley, he played in four games, totaling seven interceptions for 37 yards. During Week 2 of the NAL Eddie Davis III was award Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the High Country Grizzlies, in that game Davis recorded six tackles and three interceptions.
Davis began his college career at Wagner College where he played in 11 games making nine tackles during the 2012 season, in 2013, he played in eight games recording 15 tackles and had two pass deflection before transferring to Rowan University for his final years of eligibility. During his time at Rowan University he played in 11 games was selected to the New Jersey Athletic First Team All-Conference team and earned Eastern College Athletics South All-Star Second Team.
