OTTAWA - The Renegades family had its population added by one this week when defensive back Dave Donaldson became a father for the second time.
The Winnipeg native, and his partner, Julie, became parents to baby girl Dannica last Friday - hours after Donaldson and the Renegades knocked off Saskatchewan 22-17. Dannica weighed in at seven pounds, 13 ounces at Ottawa Civic Hospital.
Donaldson, 32, will have some additional time to spend with the newborn next week when the Renegades have a bye.
Ottawa returns to action on Friday, August 19 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Canad Inns Stadium. The Renegades return to play on their home turf on Thursday, September 8 for a Week 11 affair against the B.C. Lions at Frank Clair Stadium.
