
DB Nick Taylor Signs CFL Contract

ORLANDO - The Orlando Predators announced today that defensive back Nick Taylor has been placed on Other League Exempt after signing a contract with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League.
Taylor (5-9, 185, Florida International) started nearly every game in the secondary for Orlando as a rookie in 2015. He posted a team-high 20 pass breakups and added four interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Taylor also placed second on the team with 86 total tackles while delivering two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
Taylor becomes the eighth Orlando Predators player to land on Other League Exempt after signing an NFL or CFL contract. He joins DE Earl Okine (Indianapolis Colts), DE TJ Fatinikun (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), DT Austin Brown (New Orleans Saints), LB Brandon Copeland (Detroit Lions), OL Erle Ladson (Cleveland Browns), WR Khalil Paden (Ottawa REDBLACKS), and QB Trevor Harris (Toronto Argonauts).
