Charlotte, NC -- The Charlotte Eagles of USL PRO are excited to announce that Dave Dixon has been added to the staff as an assistant coach. Dixon joins the Eagles from Mississippi Brilla FC of the PDL.
"I am elated that Dave & Kerri Dixon are joining the Charlotte Eagles on a full-time basis," Eagles Head Coach Mark Steffens said. As a player, Dixon was a goalkeeper for the Jackson Chargers of the PDL in 1998, and spent
a season in Charlotte with the Eagles in 1997. He played his college soccer at Houghton College from 1993-97, playing in three NAIA National Championship Tournaments. A four-year starter, he was a two-time All-American, two-time All-Region selection, and a three-time All-Conference performer.
Dixon holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma - Distinguished Pass, NSCAA National Diploma - Distinguished Pass, and an NSCAA Goalkeeper License.
