Dans Have Record-Setting Night
(DANVILLE, IL) - The Danville Dans scored in every inning except the fifth on the way to a franchise record 28 runs to defeat Lafayette Aviators 28-5 in Prospect League action Tuesday night. The Dans 11 runs in the 4th inning is also set a franchise record in the Prospect League era.

The Prospect League record is 30 runs scored by Chillicothe Paints in 2012.
Andrew Meggs (Creighton) led the Dans, going 4-for-5, with two doubles, a triple, five RBIs, three runs scored and two walks. Cade Brown (Univ of San Diego) went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, along with two walks. Four other Dans had two hits apiece.

Baseball players from California, Florida, Georgia and all across the Midwest are in Danville to improve their fielding skills and batting with wood bats.
