Danny Dupont hired as Head Coach in Midget AAA

ROUYN-NORANDA, Wednesday, September 21st, 2005 - The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies announced today that Danny Dupont has been hired as the new Head Coach of the West Island Lions of the Quebec Midget AAA League. Danny had been an Assistant Coach with the Huskies franchise since the 2002-03 season.
"We are very proud of him and we're convinced that Danny will undoubtedly succeed as a Head Coach," mentioned André Tourigny, Head Coach and General Manager of Rouyn-Noranda.
The Huskies, rich in sought-after coaching candidates, lose their second Assistant Coach in under a year as Dave Thériault was hired to take over the bench boss duties of a Quebec Midget AAA League team - the Laurentides Vikings in the spring.
