The Rock River Raptors of the United Indoor Football (UIF) league would like to announce that two of their players, kicker Doug Daniel and running back Randy Bell, have earned recognition for their efforts against the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. Doug Daniel has been awarded Special Teams Player of the Week, while Randy Bell has earned Honorable Mention in the Offensive category.

This is the second time Daniel has been named Special Teams Player of the Week this season. Daniel converted two-of-three field goal attempts from 22 and 35 yards away. He also converted eight-of-nine extra point attempts, solidifying the Raptors 70-31 win over the Greyhounds.

Bell did a little of everything on the field Saturday night. He gained 52 yards on 12 carries for two touchdowns, caught one 14 yard pass, returned a blocked field goal attempt for a touchdown and returned one kickoff for 22 yards.
